About the Practice

The client-therapist relationship is the heart and soul of therapy. When you face challenges in life and are struggling to cope, you may feel extremely isolated and powerless. But you don’t have to go through it alone. Recognizing that you are struggling and taking the first step by asking for help is incredibly courageous and a triumph in itself. Good therapy is built on the foundation of mutual empathy, trust, and genuine connection between two human beings. Without them, all the insights and techniques in the world would not lead to meaningful changes.

When your therapist have built this kind of relationship with you, you might find yourself trusting this human being more, and by consequence, the therapy process. This is called a therapeutic encounter, and it is the core of what we do at Transformative Encounters.
